Good culture initially, training, strong partner network

I have never experienced so much nepotism and favoritism provided to new FA's who are the children of existing FA's are disproportiantely awarded lucrative asset sharing, RTPs and new office with existing Books of Business. Additionally, the "good old boy" network is alive and well at Edward Jones. While they talk a good game about improving diversity, the reality is almost all of the established FA's are white males, and they are now bringing their kids into the business, and providing lucrative asset and revenue sharing packages.

They have allowed the HBA’s (home based associates) to remain remote

Micromanagers, they say they are okay if you want to apply to another department within the firm but the minute you do it’s like you get a target on your back. The pay doesn’t match the workload and the word is that you have to quit and then come back to make what you should already be getting paid. Benefits are terrible but 401k is pretty good
