Micromanagement: The management likes to make decisions itself and only prefers yes men. Immature product: Most of the development team is inexperienced so the emphasis is more on using frameworks and technologies that are cool in the market instead of building a solid product architecture. As a result the product has very brittle architecture and sucks performance wise. Deceptive Marketing: They use hot buzzwords to sell their product but the product does not really do what they advertise. e.g. they use the buzzwords data science and natural language processing often but their technology really is little more than searching for keywords and regular expressions in files. Also they do not monitor the cloud applications effectively unless the customer uses their firewall while accessing the cloud, which defeats the purpose of using cloud applications anyway. This fact is never cited in their advertising.
