Vantaggi

EP systems is willing to try new things, new forms of management and new tools/ technologies. They are small business and they do try to include people in discussions/ideas.

Svantaggi

This place is the definition of founder syndrome. Management has difficulty understanding that they are the problem in most cases and will not relinquish control or provide help. This is an organization of "cowboy engineering", by a very inexperienced staff. Most engineers only have 3 or 4 years experience and it really shows. Poor work life balance, long work hours (Expected work hours 8am to 5:30pm) and poor compensation packages. low 401K match, 120 Hours PTO, no sick leave, 6 paid federal holidays, no relocation, no bonuses and they have a history of annual layoffs. If you are not in favor with the CEO or VP you will have issues.

Vantaggi

Most people working here are great people. They want to work hard and help the company achieve its goals. The overall product is a fantastic concept worth pursuing.

Svantaggi

The management team is awful. The midlevel managers and team leads are great, but the upper management has no idea what they are doing. They expect you to be working 24/7, have little respect for your personal time, and then wonder why you are burned out. This is especially true in the engineering departments. Management has often received valuable feedback and data directly from employees, anonymous surveys, and generated reports, and generally chooses to ignore it while claiming they value it. This has resulted in multiple layoffs within a 3-year period, as well as good employees and managers leaving for something better. Most who survive the rounds of layoffs only stay because they haven't found anything better.
