      Ever since I joined, I was impressed with the transparency of information available to those that worked within the different departments. Within my first few weeks, a Global team meeting was held to reflect on where the business was, how things were progressing, and what the next steps were. This is something I hadn't previously had in any of my past employment for a very long time. I love the feeling of teamwork, and the OneTeam vision. There is a great wealth of knowledge to be learnt from people who have been with the business for many years, and those that have returned back. I do believe success is better recognised here, and encouragement given. Opportunities for learning and development are also given. I've worked in some different areas over the years, but I can honestly say I'm pleased to have made the move to Electrosonic.

      There are a few systems that the company had adopted, and there are areas that processes are continually being reviewed to streamline. This isn't a bad negative, as there are always room for improvements within a business, and something that Electrosonic are looking into to develop. And things have come a long way even since I started.

      - It’s no secret that Electrosonic does the coolest jobs in the AV industry. - Jobsites are often clean, granted… there is heavy construction too. PPE is always given when requested. Brand new. - Talented and enthusiastic co-workers. - If you are having a problem on site, wether it be a client, other trades, or even a coworker..IT WILL BE DEALT WITH. Don’t ask for help if you are going to regret it. - Travel to some incredible places around the USA and sometimes international - Hotel accommodations are alway decent. Sometimes even stellar. No motels. Ever - Training is paid for or reimbursed. - Downtime is paid. Many shops will bench you if work is slow, ESI will encourage you to complete training on downtime. - There is plenty of room for promotions and growth, as long as you are willing to be vocal. Your work speaks for itself, but you still need to follow up.

      - As with any non-union shop, you have to negotiate your rate when you sign on. Set a goal/range and stick to it. The raises take a while, but they do come. Be patient or vocal. - Couple of years ago they changed from GSA rate per diem to a flat 65 when traveling domestically. Very disappointing. - Health benefits are not great, and very expensive if selecting a family plan. If you are flying solo or can stay on your spouses insurance, you should be okay.
