I like understanding the "why" behind things in business. This leadership team puts transparency around conversations and everyone is always welcome to bring forth new ideas, in fact the CEO encourages/challenges you to do so. They have a $1,000 employee allowance for continuing education in any field.

I wish there was a monthly all-hands. This would allow further discussion and transparency.

Elegen has been a wonderful company starting out. Several things worth pointing out are within the overall atmosphere. Since Elegen is a smaller start-up, it allows the management team to easily help everyone get acquainted with the overall job feel. My fellow team members have been wonderful helping me get setup and acclimated. I've been very impressed so far with how organized and diligent the team is. The hiring process was wonderful and easily streamlined. All expectations were made clear throughout the entire process. I look forward to making a full career at Elegen by achieving the clearly set expectations placed in front of me.

I'm yet to come across any major cons so far. Once the company grows and is able to provide enhanced benefits such as a 401k match, that would be great.
