Stay away! - Recensione dipendente - Teacher presso Elgin ISD

This is not a good school district and it lacks leadership. There is almost no support for teachers in the classroom especially brand new teachers. Decisions are not made with the students' best interests or their future in mind and there are many disciplinary issues. Teacher turnover is VERY high because leadership are not interested in listening to the faculty and addressing concerns. When the high school loses close to 50% of its staff in a year, then there are obviously serious issues. Standards are very low in all areas, both academic and in general expectations.
