Elite provides good pay and benefits, and its hiring and HR policies are fair and relatively transparent. On a day-to-day basis, the experience very much depends on the team (like anywhere). The work is interesting and varied, and opportunities for growth or lateral movement are pretty consistent.

Upper management has been a revolving door for years, and often consists of upper managers without a depth of knowledge of the legal industry. When it was sold by Thomson Reuters to a private equity firm, the culture changed radically. It changed hands again within two years, and has had multiple layoffs in the process of squeezing costs for profit. Product management leadership prefers "leading" Elite clients to new technologies v. allowing an in-depth understanding of client needs to drive product offerings. Failed products often lead to key project stakeholders being thrown under the bus by upper management.
