Good work/life balance Friendly atmosphere Meetings are not overly frequent and are very well-managed Tech stack is good (node, python, AWS) Some tech debt, but code quality is very high overall and coworkers are smart and really know their trade; great place for a dev to work Interaction with remote offices (e.g. Ithaca) is relatively seamless Current office space is small but honestly not too cramped Company has actual revenues and a plausible growth plan

The office space is on the smaller side, but with the shift toward remote work, it’s been a smart and natural transition. The previous larger space wasn’t necessary for how the company operates now.

The CEO creates a toxic culture. He frequently gossips about his direct reports behind their backs and even to their more junior team members. This has created constant and significant churn among the executive team which leads to paralysis in the organization. The company is in a negative growth spiral and there is no coherent plan to correct it.
