There are lots of incentives to do your job well, like restaurant vouchers for suggesting certain restaurants to guests, or bonuses for working when the hotel sells out. I always get full time and often get overtime. They are cooperative in giving requested days off. The overall atmosphere with coworkers is usually positive. The job is not overly stressful or straining.

Like any service or hospitality industry, you have to have good people skills and be fine with being yelled at by angry customers. Like any large chain, there are a lot of silly regulations you must follow that can be annoying because they seem so unnecessary.
