Great people to work with. Interesting products, challenging work, and good exposure to large oil companies. The company is small enough for anyone to climb up the career ladder relatively quickly.

Svantaggi

No processes in place. Classical sales vs. operations issues occur often. Employees wear several hats due to the lack of necessary personnel. Everyone is pulled in many different directions which makes it impossible to work efficiently.

Decent pay for the old guard employees. Free ice cream cones. Great parking. One hour lunch breaks. Standard holidays off.

When it comes to the 4 major departments, it's an us vs them mentality. Production leadership has too much power. Executive leadership is just there to collect pay checks, and travel. No highly trained department heads. Good ole boy system. Alot of back stabbing. If you're not in the click, then your stay at emco won't be long. Plant Mamagment only cares about protecting their own jobs.
