Working from home is the only pro

Pretty much everything, other than working from home. Incompetent managers, out dated systems that no one in the industry uses since most were trialware software and even their own Windows products were not legitimately licensed. You will file near daily time corrections if you want to get paid on time and only then if your Team Lead felt like it. You stand a better chance of being hit by lightning than speaking with anyone in the HR department. While I would not outright call this place a scam, you would find more professionalism and better business acumen in a back alley behind some seedy bar by a guy named Four Fingers Guito than you will ever find at Emerge.

Being able to Work from Home and the hours of operation weren't bad for the client.

Friday was a payday and the last day of our 3-week training. No one was paid and we weren't told until end of the day Friday. They said it was because of some system upgrade and because the payroll person went into emergency labour our direct deposit information wasn't entered into the system so we weren't going to be paid that day! Blah Blah Blah! Of course it was the Friday of the Labour day long weekend so the American agents were guaranteed payment on the Tues and the Canadian agents had to wait until the Thursday. Yes, correct almost a whole other week later to be paid.
