Outstanding leaders who were generally very accessible. Highly inclusive in that there were many opportunities for employees at all levels to generate ideas and/or provide appropriate constructive criticism. The mission and vision of Emory were a constant mantra and truly guided many decisions and actions. Good compensation and benefits, especially for a non-profit. Emory seems to really care about its employees and good home-office balance.
Svantaggi
Human Resources department, ironically, was the most difficult department with which to work. Very difficult to get real live people to answer calls and/or to know with whom one should speak for any given issue. Once a person was reached, however, they were usually very helpful.
