Leadership and immediate mgmt are horrible. The techs are even worse! The nurses mostly carry all the workload. Charge RN are completely clueless for acuity assignments. One RN can have 9 pts on any day on days, even worse on nights. Encompass accepts patients who have dementia cant follow directions and dont meet the 3 criteria for admit. They are all about the almighty dollar. They “act” like they care, but they dont. Literally were FORCED mandatory in the middle of a hurricane to be there at 5 am. Just when it was hitting Orlando. What company puts there employees in that danger? Rehab part of hospital is absolutely wonderful. Those people do great work!! Sooo if you like low pay, bad mgmt, no teamwork … well and make some friends! Only +++ Will never ever work there again 9/1 ratio and 10/1 ratio nights. Just not safe period!
