Entry level is a mess. If you don't "mesh" with management's personalities you will never go anywhere. Another department tried recruiting me 3 years ago but HR would not allow me to be promoted without management's recommendation. I have met every metric for quality employee but can't be promoted because "my personality" but management refuses to coach or. Other departments ask employees with half my experience why my department won't allow me to be promoted and leave and they say management doesn't like me. When other employees know you should be promoted but are stuck because of a personality conflict with your manager it is a problem. HR told me to find another job because I would never fit it here. If you have real life experience and are looking to start a new career don't come to Enerbank unless you are cute, flirty, and listen to top 100 pop. They recruit kids fresh from high school for a reason. There is no room for an adult with past professional experience to grow here. In fact when you try to interview for a position that aligns your experience and cite previous employers they will look at you like your dumb and ask how that relates to Enerbank. Management is college age kids with zero understanding of how the real world works who started at the bank because a family member recommended them and got promoted for being cute.
