Management belittles and talks down to employees. At least at the local office I worked in. The branch manager kept one nurse on disciplinary action for a year, consistently changed what goals she needed to meet so she could never meet them. I only know because I mentored her and actively tried to help her meet her goals and she had to get HR involved because it became so bad. She was a very good nurse. The problem was keeping up with her reports because this company is so unrealistically demanding with their required for billing. The ASM’s certainly do bring in new business but the promise them something for nothing. Every time a contract renewed I could bill less and less. I’m noticing other reviews are from other countries. They are giving this company great reviews. I can’t possibly imagine how it is better in other countries knowing how toxic the culture is here. This is the worst place I have ever worked and I have never been treated with so little respect anywhere, including jobs I had in high school. The benefits are horrible too. I didn’t get their health insurance but did look over the coverage and cost. It was ridiculously high. I worked for Genex for over 14 years and when I first started there was a better life/work balance but the environment, culture, expectations for billing and work hours seriously deteriorated over the years. When I first started they paid for our phone, printer/fax, phone line, office supplies, I.e., copy paper, printer ink, etc. and internet. When I quit they did not reimburse for one thing I listed above. Run away from this place as fast as you can.
