Friendly Folks, I think the benefits were reasonable. The biggest pro is I left the company in short order.

Inconsistent Messaging: The discussions leading up to the offer was to manage a technology the company wanted to grow in, a great opportunity. The offer letter had me as a "developer." Not a problem, since I wanted to trust the company at the time. Lack of Accountability: They didn't honor the documented and agreed upon start date. I left my previous position, started, and did some training and filled out paperwork, on my 3rd day the CEO and I have a conversation of it "being okay" that I start "next week." My crazy self thought "start with the client," I think he was really asking, "start paying me..." At the end of the day, in their mind, my clock didn't start until I was "billable," 6 work days later. Lack of Responsibility: The client changed their mind about the needed skill-set, and my management re-enforced the fact I am employed, I forgot to ask if that meant "paid," I was not, I found that out about 3 weeks later. Lack of Opportunity: I was not put in contact with a single manager that was not my own to discuss different work. I bring a diverse skill-set to the table, and work well with others. I consistently connected possible opportunities to "my manager," to pursue, however none panned out. Nearly a month after my agreed upon start date, was my first pay day, and I was compensated for a grand total of 33 hours, and two days before pay day is when my email was "turned off." "My manager," even told me he was putting in a ticket to have it turned back on...
