The company has a great content strategy that relied (at the time) on expert interviews to enhance SEO through EEAT principles. The team is talented, with hardworking editors and writers, and while there are problems within senior management, everyone is generally very nice. Well-maintained style guides, and improved documentation and learning overall.

Training was poor and writers expected to produce ranking content without the right skills. The expectation was unsustainable and resulted in low-quality, overly AI-ed work. As a result, content often lacked substance, and the expertise from interviews was lost. Micromanagement often led to low morale. The company lost many clients in less than 6 months. Despite opportunities for development, guidance and leadership were poor, so often opportunities turned into disappointment. We saw editors moving into leadership roles, not given adequate training, and then moved back into more junior roles with very little communication. Those who were blackballed were the last to know. Low collaboration and energy. Communication, particularly with senior management, was highly unprofessional and unproductive. In comapny-wide and individual meetings, the CEO would frequently discuss explicit and inappropriate topics at length. Meetings were sometimes in Hebrew despite having an international team.
