      Regular hours, many hands on learning opportunities

      While the compensations are the best, the benefits are less. It was painful to ask for time off as if I should feel guilty about leaving for a vacation. It was the most hostile and stressful environment I have worked at. The vendors and suppliers would get to know me very well because of where I worked at. I was expected to finish architectural, interior and civil tasks without a many of details or knowing the existing conditions. It would be the best experience if you want be trained to be invincible.

      High-end residential projects with very unique and fun design elements. Worked with some of the most talented people.

      Svantaggi

      Small firm but very talented team. Most projects are out of state, so you don't really get to see in real life what you've worked on.

      Wonderful historical chicago place to work in, great team on the administrative side and design side, nice projects

      Mostly your job is to manage the crazy fits the owner throws, she gaslights everyone. Your employment is power trip to the owner, be prepared for so many confusing demands. Hostile environment. People leave or get fired very quickly.
