The leadership appears to be making an earnest effort to turn the ship around, and the company could be in a better financial standing in 6-12 month. Enviva has had a lot of operational and cultural issues that have been festering for a while and have lead to a poor financial performance in 2023. Excessive spending has allowed costs to run rampant and have lead to recent cuts and a reduction in force. With all of these challenges, the culture can feel very negative at times. Turnover has been a problem in both corporate and operations. Enviva still has high growth potential in the future, but overall it feels like a very unstable place to work at times.
