Flat organization (for some divisions) where you can move to positions to lead significant projects, company initiatives, etc. based on performance rather than tenure. Madison is a nice mix of big/small and has seasons. Within driving distance of big cities and the countryside. If you prefer work travel, lots of opportunities to visit new locations.

You. will. work. hard. You will have a lot of competing priorities. You're given a ton of trust to make ends meet. You're given a lot of autonomy and responsibility, but this is double edged so if you're not used to managing your own time or never been challenged in this way... it's something a lot of folks realize they don't want to do or even if they can do it, they may realize they don't want to work in the healthcare IT industry.
