I worked on one federal contract during my tenure on a variety of teams, ALL of my coworkers were amazing, great attitudes, work ethic, smart people! Spot bonuses were given if your work exceeded expectations, and they are at managers discretion so it can really up your salary if you had a great people manager like I did!

Executive leadership is good, but blind to upper middle managements moves. There are issues with psychological safety and team members constantly feeling on edge and out of the loop with the direction of the contract and focus for management. Priorities- constantly changing but with little notice and explanation which made navigating the client space more challenging that it needed to be. A constant request from management for 'feedback' which seems nice, but feedback was then not taken or the people giving the feedback were 'moved' to other spaces because of the client need'. Overall being a PM on the Federal side of ECS presents unnecessary challenges due to immature (in experience) management that I have not seen anywhere else in my Federal contracting career (12 years).
