Overall, my experience has been very positive. I think the best part is cool team members and a very human and people-first culture, despite technically being a company in the world of the tech start-up grind. Everyone I've worked with so far is friendly, passionate, and supportive

It's a young company with a relative lack of structured process and maturity. They're still working through setting up processes for how things work, so there isn't a lot of seasoned management or detailed guidelines. The founders have been very open to everyone's opinions, but I still notice people who are used to traditional structures wanting to play it safe and be passive even if they disagree.
