Vantaggi

Great experience working in a multinational corporation. Seemly great benefits program (I cannot verify as I was a coop = no benefits). Office in Horsham was being remodeled, but was a nice environment with good labs. The other employees seemed to work well together, but have a tendency to get very catty/insulting to others if they are afraid for their jobs (a la stress passed down from upper management, see below).

Svantaggi

Other segments of the company (i.e. headquarters in Germany) do not communicate well to the US-based offices in Horsham, PA and Parsippany, NJ. Management tensions are high and passed down to other employees and staff. I never participated in this, but as a co-op I could tell others were purposely rude/negatively impacting others work out of spite/fear they would be promoted. These issues whizzed right over my head but made the company look really, really bad. Also, many employees use interns as a "stepping stone" to make themselves look better among their peers. It honestly felt like I was a child in between two parents divorcing, with grown adults not able to act professionally at times.

Vantaggi

Pay is good, bonuses are low, benefits have decreased every year Lunch in cafeteria is great Shift relief time was good, had enough time after work to be with family We sure miss Bonnie out there , she’s great.

Svantaggi

Micromanaging - Extreme lack of trust Overall morale for the whole site is way down starting from 2018 Bias Backstabbing Incompetency - certain employees promoted to next level without actually knowing or understanding the process No work life balance, we’re told that doesn’t apply to production workers. Overtime hours avg 400-700 hours a year No room for employee growth or thoughts on process productivity/troubleshooting acknowledged if you’re not in the clique 3-2-2-3 shift schedule swapping from nights to day each time led to overall fatigue. Needs to be 2 weeks of nights and 2 weeks of days. HR is an overall joke, they used to be superb until COVID and the new site manager. Preach safety but turn a blind eye when it’s convenient to reach production. Then fault the operators or maintenance personnel if something happens.
