The point of a recruiter is to open doors but at Express they will close them. A great job site I was looking forward to building a long-term relationship with is no longer interested because my recruiter ended my assignment without it being mutually agreed upon. Because I liked it I couldn't help but feel like I was under qualified which made be a bit anxious but I never stated that I did not want to return. Unfortunately, my recruiter only listens to the sound of her own voice and jumped to a conclusion instead of directly asking if I was officially quitting or not. She then claimed that the company would call me themselves, which did not happen which leads me to believe that it was a lie. I called upper management but nothing came from it so assume they approve of this. I lost a great opportunity here. I doubt I will be able to seek any type of legal action but I will definitely attempt it. DO NOT waste your time with Express, lest you want to be stripped of opportunities.

The owner, Jessica, is fantastic as is the sales manager, Kirby. It can be a fun environment and putting people in a position to succeed is always rewarding.

Employees are not held to any sort of reasonable professional standard. Where it directly impacted this role at the time was that at least 25 hours every week were spent essentially begging employees to turn in time cards rather than doing anything productive. Standards seemed pretty inconsistent at times. The company felt a little aimless. There were several conflicting plans for the future. My understanding is that in the six months after my separation, they more or less replaced the entire staff for various reasons. Maybe they got it figured out now.
