1. The account managers are just awful, they pit consultants against each other
2. They pay next to nothing and when they charge out at phenomenal rates (when you ask for a pay rise they claim you aren’t entitled because “they’re doing you a favour by employing you”)
3. They don’t pay expenses, even if you have to travel to client site miles away (one of my placements was 8 weeks and £89 a week for transport that they didn’t reimburse)
4. You get no say over placements, even if you’re struggling
5. The support teams just do box ticking exercises
6. No point in joining if you’re based outside of London, the clients are spaced across the country and the work is mostly admin support
7. They have corporate events but you have to pay to attend (no transport or accommodation provided so unless you live in the city of the event you’re out of pocket)
8. The compulsory training is useless, not even accredited, luckily you don’t get tied into a compulsory time limit contract
