      Famous Dave's was a very interactive workplace. It was laid back, you wear jeans and a Famous Daves t-shirt to work unless you are a manager. They did a great job of bringing coworkers

      I would have to work past my scheduled hours several times. Because several younger people worked here also, they would call of often. So, if you were supposed to leave, you would have to stay. I also did not think that it was the hostess' job to do bathroom checks. Also, the managers switched often because of people leaving.

      Flexible hours, evenings and weekends to work around f/t day job, variety, fairly easy. Earn tips. Not as much as a server, but helpful considering the wage.

      One of the managers in particular has a fragile ego/insecurities and tends to go on power trips. He takes out his mood on employees. There are also favorites, and if you are not one of them he does not treat you well. Yelling, condescension, snide comments, etc. Some employees have worked there for MANY years and still make the same wage they did when they were hired. Experience, leadership & training needs to be recognized and rewarded.
