FanTV is a great product that everyone loves. The future could be very bright if well executed.

The management team is very self absorbed and appears to have little interest in relating to their teams. Complete lack of transparency, working for a public conglomerate would offer more insight in to how a business works then this opaque 50 person company.

the best part about Fanhattan is getting up everyday and working with the brightest minds in silicon valley and hollywood to invent the future. this is a great company in the making and there is a strong vibe in the office that we are all in this together. it's the perfect example of that silicon valley start-up. great perks like membership to equinox gym, catered lunches, movie nights, great 401k and health care. strong management team and leadership.

People who was hired believed in the idea and wanted to do something great with their talents. The reality is that the management is in control of everything. CEO won't talk to non management employees and won't come up with solutions to try to improve communication and trust. Luck of transparency was a huge issue in a team with only around 35 employees. Too many hierarchy within such a small team where you have around 8 to 10 managers (VPs and Directors) to 20 to 25 engineers. No trust can be learned due to ignorance of the management team that believes in "protecting" CEO from noises and have total control of the product direction. To company who is thinking of hiring any of the directors and VPs from this company. Don't do that. They will destroy your company and make your employees miserable.
