A completely unique place: the world’s largest privately owned vintage aircraft collection. Led by a charismatic guy, Kermit Weeks, who spent a lot of money keeping the place going. He cares deeply about the mission and was accessible to his staff and visitors.

The place could not support itself as a tourist attraction, even in Central Florida. I understand Mr. Weeks is retooling the concept for a big reopening. The community and former staffers sure miss the magic that was FoF.

Great co-workers. Employees truly care more than the owners does despite his tears.

Low wages. No growth opportunity. Little trust that the senior management knows what they are doing. They said they were improving the corporate culture....and then it hit an all time low. If you are going to talk the talk, walk the walk.
