There’s a growing sense of branding fatigue. The company repeatedly showcases the same image/person—aimed at a young, bearded, hipster demographic—while forgetting its core customer base: older anglers who can actually afford premium gear. Culturally, the company can feel very cliquey. Office staff often overlook production employees, and too many departments fall under the Marketing VP’s control. Leadership lacks diversity and still operates like an old boys’ club. It’s no surprise that female employees rarely stick around for long.
