There is definitely room for improvement with FFR. Low pay for 1st time completions, you get stiffed $5 every call you are the 2nd man in. Too much driving so so few calls. I’ve made very good suggestions on how to raise technician pay, but fell on deaf ears.
They do pay for all supplies, but the gas reimbursement is a joke. $2.50 a stop so you can potentially drive over 200 miles for only 4-5 stops so a potential $10 so all those miles. If a customer isn’t home then it’s no pay. A wrong part sent winds up an inspection and a waste of time.
No chance for a raise and don’t let them b.s you when you ask for one. They will say you need to raise you 1st time completion rate and lower your inspection rate. They say that everyone is contracted at the same rate which is bull. So someone who has 15 years experience gets paid the same as a rookie?
Lots of turnover with the call center agents, dispatch personnel and supervisors. I personally went through 5 dispatchers in over 2 years. There is definitely favoritism with people and techs. Other techs that are in your area can cause problems with customers by their false promises which you have to deal with.
