Very high turnover in the sales force. Majority resign on their own, average tenure seems to be under 1 year. National sales meeting during Fourth of July week. The sales manager does not return phone calls or emails from reps for days. Management is known to circumvent the rep to make a sale in a high profile account. There is no structured training or database of resources, you learn as you go, often by making mistakes. With an unavailable sales manager, the lack of support and information can make the job frustrating. No team sales calls to share information. Individual pipeline call with upper management on Monday evenings, you will be grilled. Sales quota is the same across all territories, but some territories have 50% more targets than others. Favorite reps are given bluebird accounts in open territories. You can make a ton of money in the right territory, but you won't want to stay anyway. Quality issues with equipment. Repair technicians are not employees and tend to be about 1 per region. Low base salary is the same for every territory. A women's health company with a nearly all-male sales force.

Following graduation I was applying to job postings, hoping to start my new career. Many of the position I applied to were misleading, and ended up being door-to-door sales. I was not happy with this as a day-to-day position, and did not think these types of businesses would provide me with the opportunity I was looking for. I desired a company that was still growing, that offered a career not just a job. I wanted a chance to continue up the corporate ladder and develop as the company does. When I discovered Faxitron, I was delighted. It fit my needs and wants perfectly. As a newly formed company, but an old and well established brand name, Faxitron has provided me with a vast wealth of knowledge and experience. On a daily basis I am completing a wide variety of tasks ranging from organizing the company trade shows to designing an advertisement for a medical journal, from posting on social media sites to providing assistance to the sales staff. This wide range of responsibilities makes everyday challenging and exciting. Just the way I like it!

Fast paced work environment, which requires strong organizational skills, and quick problem solving techniques. Employment here can be stressful at times because of the large number of projects that come with a continually growing company/industry.
