Vantaggi

You don’t know if you’ll be an unloader or a van liner until after you’re hired. This is my review for unloader, as I only spent 2 days on van line. (Try to get van line if you want to scan boxes all day. Try to get unloader if you want to put boxes on a conveyer belt all day. If you want to be in unload, try to avoid going in the tower unless you want to try out scanning boxes all day like the van liners do). - Fun people. Diverse group of people with interesting stories. Everybody you communicate with is doing the same job as you. -Music all morning. Different types of people bring speakers. People that bring the speakers have a lot of responsibility to provide a joyful experience to their truck mates throughout the morning. If you find somebody with the same taste in music as you, try to get paired up with them every day. If you want to accept the responsibility of providing music, go for it. - $13.50 an hour is what I made. Everybody has a different story, so you determine if that’s worth lifting boxes (up to 150 pounds) for a few hours every morning. They also have a tuition program where you can get $5250 a year for college.

Svantaggi

- Hours. Most days start at 3:30 am at my location. -pay? -Lifting heavy boxes. Some trailers have a lot of heavy boxes. Most have only one or two. That could also change based off where you live idk.

Vantaggi

Easy to apply, fast to get hired (no interview process) and the pay

Svantaggi

Very rude management, lack of care for safety, no drinkable water (all filters are in the red and have been since I started) They have cameras everywhere and are constantly watching you but say you can’t bring your own phone in because “people steal them”? There is junk everywhere. Lots of trash everywhere (employees drinks and food). They want you to work and eat on the line instead of giving you breaks to do so. They get upset when you use the bathroom or fill your water bottle even if you’ve been working for 3 hours straight but if you clock in at an area 2 min walking distance from your work area you’re “stealing time” I’ve noticed people of color get treated differently. The HR department has some of the most prejudice employees so there’s no real equality if you have conflict with someone. I’ve never been, but it feels like a prison to go in and out of the building and lastly you don’t work a consistent schedule. You leave when they say you can.
