The VP of Sales is a fantastic individual who seems to genuinely care about the well-being of his employees. They are a SEWP IV holder with SDVOSB classification that allows them to special bid some opportunities.

Svantaggi

Disorganized, ineffectual, shotgun method of bid board farming that harms the company's reputation with manufacturing partners. Lack of proactive business development in all accounts. Rampant sexism. Abject lies during interview and hiring process regarding job duties, specifics of employment, etc. Lack of any effective business planning or customer engagement management tools. (They use a hopelessly complicated Excel sheet embedded with hundreds of macros for the sake of providing quotes. Just one quote can take hours to complete.) Ambiguous organizational chart with the three brothers who own the place and the President. Micromanagement to the point of being ludicrous.

If you are an innovative, successful salesperson, this would not be a place that would enable you to flourish. Ownership is very set in their ways, and they pick and choose what opportunities they are willing to put themselves at risk to pursue. They have walked away from multi-million dollar deals because it does not fit within their particular mold. They expect to gain everything yet risk nothing. In addition, a currently employed high ranking executive asks inappropriate questions during interviews and divulges co-workers personal matters with others. No set vacation, sick or PTO hours and current executive expects full disclosure of personal matters to obtain permission to take time off and be wary that information will then be used against you and broadcast across the company. Work schedule is not flexible. Good, experienced people are hired and then let go because they don't conform to their mold. Average employee tenure is less than a year!
