There are so many downsides working here. The list can go on and on. I absolutely do not like how they conduct business. They are so focused on call quality and stats and you get coached for absolutely anything under the sun, even the most smallest things that are not even relevant they are counting it as a coaching. I feel as though many of these customer service departments are so pointless. When I first started I worked in the “password reset” department which is called Corillian or something along those lines and it was the most horrible experience ever. Management for that department was absolutely terrible and my supervisor I was assigned to was also horrible. She never answered messages whenever I would need help or even just had a question about anything whether it was schedule wise or whatever the situation could be. That department had such a lack of resources to use to help customers. We were “password reset” but every single customer had to be transferred multiple times to get to whoever could assist them because we did not have the resources to help them. I am now in the Fraud department and I hate it here even more. The job itself is simple but I do not like the fact that we have to call out to customers to verify what they spend on their card….the system flags regular everyday transactions as possible fraud causing the customer’s card to become locked and when they try to make a purchase their card declines which is extremely embarrassing especially in front of many people in a store. And then customers are always really skeptical about why we are calling asking them about money they spent and I definitely agree because there is no reason why I should be getting a call asking if I spent such and such amount every single time I make a transaction. It is very annoying. Another thing, the systems are EXTREMELY old and outdated and there are constant tech issues daily. Every single day I spent in training for the Fraud department we spent almost all of training troubleshooting tech issues which is absolutely ridiculous because there is no way that neither one of the systems work properly. The phone system that is used have issues DAILY! There is never a day that goes by where there is not any system issues and it is absolutely horrible and the IT department is not really that helpful. Over all I would never recommend this company to anyone. To me it’s a horrible place to work. I just feel like working for a third party customer service call center is the worst period. But this company is just not it.
