With ambition comes regular and often intense change. This isn’t an environment for everyone.

The company appears to have achieved what many organisations consider impossible... creating bureaucracy while maintaining startup levels of chaos.

Engineering culture can be surprisingly hostile. Discussions frequently become dominated by the loudest, most cynical voices rather than the most constructive ones. Collaboration often resembles an intellectual cage fight where the prize is winning an argument nobody needed to have. Morale is predictably poor. An eNPS score of approximately -80 does not feel like a metric requiring further investigation. Excessive pessimism and negativity make it difficult for motivated engineers to remain motivated.
