Lovely owner and directors. Nice office with free coffee/tea. Occasional treats from directors (pizza/summer and Xmas events) Amazing colleagues that carries the company and the good experience.

Progression based off friendships with line management. Line management can jump in feet first and make an employee feel targeted and singled out. Minimal duty of care shown with an enforced return to the office for workers that have valid reasons to continue to work from home and for a role that is all online based which doesn’t require an office. Can make staff feel undervalued, under appreciated and this can impact their high hitting stats. You can feel that nothing you do is good enough because management has already formed the wrong idea and opinion of you, opinions that aren’t shared and shocks other colleagues. They would rather lose good staff than be productive and help. Shift patterns are outdated and can be tiring.

Well known platform which provides a good service to users

After working with Spareroom for a good few years supporting their well known Speedflatmating Events, change were made to their Payment Policy, HR Terms of Reference and Started Recruiting for new team of staff all before letting their current staff know this was happening. These changes were seen by current staff in an open call for new staff on Facebook. Highly unprofessional.
