Extremely toxic and stressful environment. Perpetually understaffed for the amount of work/timeframe to do it in. Management will retaliate against you for being too critical of the lab, expressing unhappiness, etc, throwing you into a different dept. permanently. Lab is currently too small and crowded to be safe. Turnover is extremely high - lots of college grads who realize how terrible this place is after 1 day. Training is minimal because nobody has time to train you. Constant time pressure to get results out, which takes a toll on everyone. Pay is not good enough and raises are difficult to get. You will be micromanaged. Pretty much nobody is happy to work there.
