Very hypocritical, plans for months to be closed on centain holidays then at last minute (literally a few days before) keeps store open with no respect for employees or family travel plan ects. Retail is spontanious yes but have a bit of compassion for the people who work hard for you. Pay is terrible, for what you have to do had a black mold problem that kept most full time workers sick flue sinus infections etc and company sent an environmentalist months later, still not fixed No work/life balance. mediocre discount clothes are cheap but might as well wait until they go on sale theyll be cheaper than your discount. terminates the right people and keep the wrong people based on who is liked employees will lie in you in a minute to get your job no support from upper management and corpoarte levels. even at corporate level they know who their favs are Employees are treated with no resepct employees are lied on to get fired and HR approves it!! time and time again No job security Ive been in retail for over 10 years and have never seen anything like it in my life company just out to make money no appreciation for employees
