Vantaggi
As a young professional (~3 years out of college), finding a job felt a lot like I had to pick 2: - a mission I actually believe in - a team that is fun to work with (and actually be friends with!) - a position that allows me to develop new skills - an opportunity for career growth - reasonable compensation At Forward, I was shocked to discover that I didn't have to pick. Sure, working at a startup is a lot of work, but it seriously is worth it. I work with people who are incredibly intelligent and passionate about changing lives. They believe in my abilities often more than I do. I get to work on projects that push the boundaries of what I believe I can do and develop skills I never thought I would have at this age. I get to work alongside the most brilliant doctors and engineers who teach me new things every single day. More than anything, even on my worst days, I know that everything that I am doing at Forward is contributing to genuinely changing the world in ways I could never imagine. How many people can say they get to work on a project like this ever in their lifetime? I consider myself extremely lucky to be able to do so at Forward.

Working at a fast-paced startup is not for the faint of heart! Days can be long and projects can feel overwhelming. We're solving problems that have never been faced before, so failure is a daily part of the job. Things are constantly changing, so you have to make an effort to keep up with what's next. Personally, I find all these "cons" pretty fun, but obviously not everyone will ;)
