      The internship was beginner-friendly and I had a rich and fulfilling experience working at Founders Doc. Although I had no legal background coming into this internship, working in a small team at Founders Doc allowed me to try their hand at actual legal work beyond just basic proof-reading and editing of documents. The hybrid work arrangement was really beneficial as well since we need not spend time commuting to offices daily. Most significantly, the mentorship I received from Rachel was extremely valuable. It is uncommon for interns to receive direct and close guidance and it was useful to learn both legal and professional skills directly from Rachel.

      The small size of the company coupled with the hybrid work arrangement may not be conducive for one to create many new connections during the internship. I was lucky that the Founders Doc team was relatively larger during my time there, so I still had the opportunity to develop friendships with the other interns!
