Svantaggi
Cons - The initial cost investment from supplying your own internet. My internet came out to be about $1,000 for 12 months of service paid out of pocket up front to meet their speeds requirements (200mbps down) (80mbps upload) prior to your first day. This cost was discounted because I paid for the entire year from Xfinity. - Extremely high call volume wears you down fast. If you have a micromanager team lead aka "supervisor" who is set on complaining about the red and green computer-generated conditional formating, then your life will be miserable. - Sykes was bought by Sitel and has been switching systems for over the last year as of now .. (April 2022) - Out of 60-70 calls you will have about 3 or 4 calls that fit actually your role and what you are trained to do. That's only about 5% - 6% of calls that pertain to what you do. Other than that you will be a human answering machine for the adjusters and expected to process the call in 8 min time. - Low pay which is about $15.00/hr even if you have insurance licenses. Benefits are expensive which means you cannot live off of the pay. - If you need to reboot your computer due to a tech issue, then every second you are unavailable is counted against you. If you have an ISP outage (internet service provider) then it's counted against you. This time pulls from your allotted 100 hours termination max. If you have a team lead who cannot do simple addition and subtraction with a calculator, then it's assumed you have an unexcused absence for "10 min" to reboot and log back on the phone. - By the time you reach 6 months you will be close to termination with plenty vacation time banked if you dont enroll in the quartley vacation time payout. - You get two 10min breaks and a 30 min lunch, don't be late otherwise it goes against your 100 hours - 3 months after your production start you will have the opportunity to take your first peek at your time sent, don't be alarmed if you receive a verbal or written.
