      The newly-refurbished office is a great environment, making it easy to collaborate, even with remote colleagues. Strong relationships across the company, both within and outside the engineering department, make the work environment enjoyable. The company culture is positive and accepting, with plenty of fun and engaging activities.

      There's noticeable salary disparity depending on the team, which can cause frustration and affect morale. This has been improved but should not still be an issue. Innovation within the engineering department is often stifled by the CTO, limiting growth and creativity. Leadership is becoming a barrier to important internal initiatives, such as the Pride group, which undermines the company’s inclusive values.

We’d love to share how we support the initiatives across the company, some of which happens behind the scenes, as you say balancing autonomy with support is a fine line.       I couldn't be happier with my experience applying to FreeAgent! The process was incredibly fast, I received my verbal offer just two weeks after applying, and the recruitment team was wonderful. They were so communicative, making sure I always knew exactly what to expect. The steps were well-structured: a phone screen interview, a written assessment testing key job skills, and a really welcoming competency interview with various members of the team.
