Excellent returns across seven funds. Kind people with civil culture. LA office is social and has strong traditions. Excellent access to the founders, both of whom have tremendous perspective on investing and life. Both are exceptional people.

The firm has tremendous discipline and only pursues investments that are prudent and consistent with its mandate (a good thing with a beneficial impact on returns). As a junior or mid-level employee, this may result in evaluating fewer deals that would be ideal.

Option to work in NY or LA as offices in both cities.

No career development, anti-social workplace, full of white male senior citizens. Not a top tier PE firm to build a career.
