Vantaggi
- Great office location right on South Congress, close to restaurants, shops, etc. - A handful of wonderful co-workers - I hear they started a taco lunch day after I left
Svantaggi
- Unbelievably low pay, as a college grad who worked for them as an hourly employee for 6 months, my first and only offer was for $26,740. Try to make that work in Austin, TX with student loan debt. (Hint: I had multiple roommates and did not own a car, only way it was possible). - Management is incapable of managing. I've never met managers that were as terrible (or afraid) to speak to their co-workers as the managers at FGT. - Overtime compensation? Ha, absolutely not. - I worked with some of the laziest most incompetent people I've ever met while at FGT. And I worked at Office Depot in college. That says A LOT. (No offense to Office Depot employees). - The software everything runs on is absolute garbage. Crashes regularly. And I know this sounds like a spurned employee. I am not. In fact, I haven't worked there for 7+ years, I left my bitterness towards FGT many years ago. But that doesn't change the fact that it was an awful workplace then, and I highly doubt it's changed much in recent years. Unless you have a sincere passion to SELL TICKETS (notice I did not say to work in the music business, or with live music) DO NOT WORK HERE.
