Lots of fun! The employees will hang out outside of work. It's like working with your friends. The people make this company what it is.

This company is like being in high school. You want to be friends with the cool crowd. The owner has paid females to take shots of vodka. This is highly unprofessional and corrupt. Makes you feel like Brian (the owner) is trying to take advantage of attractive females. If you are unwilling to get drunk you are an outcast. The company has also rewarded employees for making fun of former employees. For Halloween someone dressed up as a former employee. This individual won the Halloween costume contest. The whole company was making fun of the previous employee. Working at Funko puts pressure on someone to live an unhealthy lifestyle. I'm surprised the company hasn't received multiple sexual harassment lawsuits.

The team you get to work with and grow with is the best part of the job. If you’re into the product, the employee discount is solid I suppose.

Near zero chance for career growth with this company, within the retail store itself or moving up to corporate. The company has been subject to frequent layoffs and “restructuring”. The retail store has had three different general managers (so far). There are associates that have been part time for years, yet working full time hours, receiving no benefits. The retail store doesn’t utilize its workers properly. Good, solid workers have jumped ship completely due to burnout, being stepped on, management refusing to correct toxic workplace behavior, and selective coaching. You’re promised the opportunity to grow, but denied the development to make that a reality.
