      After two plus years of working at Fusion Optix I can say with certainty that this has been an incredibly positive experience for me as a whole. Not knowing much about the lighting/optical component industry I was exposed to the insides of how it worked and cutting edge technology used by top lighting companies around the world. The innovation alone experienced is a benefit to anyone interested in joining the lighting world. This is a company that is truly what you make of it. If your motivation to succeed matches your actions I believe you are rewarded in the ability to grow as an engineer, manager, designer ect. whatever your personal goal is. The people at this company and the people who run Fusion Optix have a unified goal in their interest in success. I do not doubt their personal motivation in seeing this company grow and having the employees benefit from that success. In the two years I have been here, I have seen a vast amount of growth in capability of manufacturing as well as being a part in creating a positive direction that the company is moving in. It’s a rewarding feeling for people looking to make an impact with their team members. Put in the time and effort and you see ideas turn into actual products, manufactured in the space around you.

      Fusion Optix is not the place for people who want to pigeon hole themselves in one discipline. Here, it is a necessity and strongly encouraged to understand the business as a whole. A lot is asked of you, so your interest in learning must match your interest in succeeding.

      You are absolutely right to say that Fusion Optix is not the sort of place you will get pigeon holed or where you can coast. You are also right to point out the need for effective communication. We haven't always got things right and sometimes employees also haven't communicated effectively with us. This has been a process. It's taken a long time to get the balance and we made mistakes. But, I'm glad you feel empowered and remain positive. Thank you.

      The first and foremost thing that I have seen in the company is a nurturing environment to develop your skill set if you are willing to put in the effort. Another good experience I had while joining the company is fact that the vice president of the company himself came to the floor and introduced me to others and gave a general description of the machines and work they do in that specific section of manufacturing unit. I don't think that any other person in such a high position will take an effort like that. Another thing I can't skip is the patience and help offered by the manager. Even though I had previous experience as an engineer, those are completely different from the machines I use in this manufacturing unit, so I had to learn everything from the scratch. My manger was so patient and helped me through the initial learning curve. He even made a video of how to use a machine and sent that to me during my initial days. That kind of effort is worth mentioning.

      This is a work place and there should be something that make you uncomfortable once in a while. Since we all are human beings and such things are meant to happen even in the most perfect places, it will vary with each person's experience, But I don't think that there are any major cons that is worth mentioning. This is altogether a good place to work.
