      Joined Gallo 6 years ago after leaving a large tech publicly-traded company. Working for a family-owned company is much more aligned with my personal values and much better work/life balance that I ever had at my old company. I've had very supportive managers when I was an individual contributor. Benefits are great and compensation is at or slightly higher than the market, in my opinion. Very thankful we're still allowed to work remote 2 days per week.

      My one feedback is that I didn't feel fully prepared for being promoted to manager. Gallo should be sending their top performers, that are on track for promotion to management, to leadership classes before promoting them. I was thrown into managing a team of 5 and did not feel adequately prepared.

      Fast pace at times, with occasional shifting priorities. Very few downsides overall.

      Priorities aren’t aligned across the business units. There’s a real lack of what it means to work at Gallo these days. Each group is out for themselves.
