The workplace is characterized by frequent reorganizations and unexpected layoffs, creating a toxic atmosphere driven by unqualified management. Benefits are consistently cut, and salaries are below industry standards, all while employees face high expectations that demand at minimum 40 hours a week, often extending beyond that with constant on-call demands. The rigid 8 am to 5 pm schedule is strictly enforced, leaving little room for remote work, and mandatory participation in company events adds to the pressure. Despite management promoting “GALY values,” they often lack understanding and compassion for employees, treating them as disposable, which leads to fragile job security and arbitrary terminations. Additionally, the skills gained in this environment are minimal and largely untransferable, as the company relies on outdated methods and technology. Employees are pressured to regularly reinvent processes without adequate resources, resulting in inefficiencies and internal conflicts.
