This is a company full of incredibly talented people who are truly passionate about their work. They support each other through difficult times. We released an amazing project, and considering the war, it’s worth more than all other releases combined. I’m proud to work with these people and truly happy that we can continue working together. I’m deeply shocked by some of the things I’ve read in certain reviews. I think this is happening because we’ve finally started letting some people go (which was long overdue), and now there are many complaints, simply because they can no longer rely on the company and their colleagues to carry the load while they left work early or didn’t contribute fully. Overall, I’m shocked by the number of ungrateful people — some of whom were literally saved from the war. I hope they are no longer part of the team. I was very satisfied with the release bonuses. The changes to the company structure were necessary. I even said so during the postmortem and I’m glad to see them happening.

We should’ve been tougher with certain people a long time ago. The structural changes could have started much earlier. The rapid growth from 200 to 500 people was definitely felt. Though, to be fair, we did get a lot of amazing folks on board. A lot of managers should have started delegating their work much earlier. Some leads also should have been removed from their positions sooner.
