Very flexible for scheduling of personal/medical appointments. Company does subsidize health insurance deductibles - which is a unique and nice benefit given outrageous deductibles these days. GemEx "sort of" offers unlimited vacation but due to severe understaffing you cannot count on any uninterrupted time for yourself.

Owner (RW) consistently downsizing, implementing time/pay cuts (several pay cuts in past years... pay levels never get restored). Company has lost essential personnel/positions (e.g. marketing, technical) but has done nothing to fill those empty positions. As people have left, owner simply redistributes responsibility across remaining resources. Owner is extremely cheap, having implemented only pay cuts (and no raises in past eight years). This is the first company I have ever engaged with that (unashamedly) uses pirated Adobe software for daily production of customer deliverables. Generally unethical and very poor management.
